Andrew's parents came to visit us (read Sophia:) for New Years. We had a wonderful time and they were able to spend some quality time spoiling their youngest granddaughter :) Then to spoil Andrew and I, they watched Sophia on New Year's Eve and we went to dinner and a party just the two of us! Hey everyone :) Since we installed this visitor counter a couple of months ago, I have been able to see who is visiting our blog!! It's been so fun to know that some people are actually reading it. The only problem is that there are a couple of people who visit regularly that I have no idea who they are!! A Very Merry Christmas!!!

We traveled to Los Angeles to celebrate Christmas and to introduce Sophia to the entire family :) We are so blessed to have such a wonderful huge family that was willing to travel to my parents to meet her. Andrew and I had a fantastic time and we know Sophia enjoyed meeting everyone :) Sophia and her daddy Auntie Alison, Mimi, Great Grandma and Soph 4 Generations Our first Christmas as 3! Our new home??

This is our new house!! OK...well this is where our new house will be when it's built :) Andrew and I have bought a lot, and are building a new home!! We are so excited...I wish there was more to show you, but it's just a forest right now.

We are in the blueprint stages, and we have "walked the lot" and tagged the tree's we want to keep in our backyard and along the house. The process will probably take up to 8 months. They told us it would take 2 months to get our blue prints back...but we received them in 1 and a half weeks. :) So maybe it will go faster, but I won't count on it!

The Epic Wives Club

Last night was the annual Melting Pot Christmas dinner for the "Epic Wives". By the way Epic is the name of the studio Andrew works for. Anyway, this group of wives meet at least once a month and go out to dinner. They are a wonderful group of ladies and it's so fun to get together with them and laugh about what nerds all our husbands are :)

Tummy Time Turned Nap Time :)

Sophia does not like her daily "tummy time". In fact I think that is probably her least favorite part of the day. Yesterday she was doing pretty well- lifting her head, looking from side to side. Then she just let out this big long sigh, layed her head down, and fell asleep. I think she had enough of tummy time...she slept for about 45 minutes. I had to take pictures :)

First Pair of Jeans :)

OK...I realize that this not one of those baby milestones like crawling or saying her first word. But I had to document her first pair of jeans because...well, because she is so darn cute in them! Cute jeans :) Close up of cute jeans...can you tell that the stitching is pink??

Thanksgiving Road Trip :)

This year for Thanksgiving we flew to Birmingham to meet up with Andrew's parents and siblings. Then in Birmingham we loaded into 4 cars and headed out of Alabama, through Mississippi and into the middle of Louisiana. Then we met up with the rest of Andrew's family and had a wonderful time. Sophia was fantastic and it was nice for Andrew's family to meet her (and me...since I had not met many of them yet either). One thing is for sure we had so so so many things to be thankful for this year. The Lord has continued to pour out His blessing upon us and we are overwhelmed :)
