House Update
There has been a ton of work accomplished the past couple of weeks. Most of it has been on the inside so there really wasn't much to show. They have completed all the electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning. Then this week they bricked the front of the house!!! We were so excited to see what the finished product would look like. When we were trying to decide on the brick we wanted Andrew and I spent two weekends driving around town looking at brick houses :) Needless to say we really love this one!! Next week we have the pre-drywall walk though. The siding should arrive next week, then the roof will be put on. The big white space in the middle is going to be stacked stone. It was a quite a funny ordeal for us to find a stone we liked. We are praying that it goes well with our brick choice :)

Close up of the brick :) We will keep you posted!!

This past weekend Andrew's parents flew in to see Sophia. They played , went for walks around the neighborhood. They sent me out of the house to go do whatever I wanted. I went and got a mani/pedi, went to lunch with Andrew, ran some errands.
We all had a wonderful time :)
House Update
There has been some great progress made since the last time I updated :) They have put in the windows. Wrapped the house, put in plumbing, started the electrical, and the air ducts/vents. This week they will be working on the shingles for the roof, siding, and finishing up electrical. We have so much fun driving by and checking out the progress :) Our family picture :) Master Bath tub Looking out the kitchen windows Family room

Washington, D.C.
Last weekend we loaded up the car (and Sophia) and drove to Andrew's sister's house in Delaware. We dropped off Sophia, and Andrew and I went into D.C. for a two night mini-vacation. Two nights away from Soph- can you believe it?? The longest I had been away from my baby girl before this weekend was 4 hours. I cried when we left her, and we did call and check on her every couple of hours :)
Andrew and I had such a great time just the two of us...we went to several museums, went to great restaurants, ate a TON of food, slept in late (8:00 is late for us now), talked about what an incredible three years it has been, and missed our Sophie Lou!
Andrew and the dinosaurs :) hee hee... Me, bad hair and the Capitol building Just the two of us... Hunky hubby and the Capitol
It was a wonderful time, and we are so grateful that we were able to leave Sophie and know she was in wonderful hands (all 10 of them)!!! Thank you Ashley, Mark, Emma, Isabelle and Andrew for taking such great care of Sophie...she misses you already!!>

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Today is our wedding anniversary....it's amazing looking back three years and seeing how God's hand has led us to where we are today. I don't think I could have imagined a more amazing or blessed life with Andrew. He is an amazing man, my love, my best friend and the most incredible father. I am grateful every day for having him in my life....and so thankful that the Lord chose him specially for me. It has been a wonderful journey so far, and we are looking forward to years and years and years to come....love you babe :)

House Update Week #5
So...we were suppose to have the electrical walk-through last week, but the wrong roof trusses were delivered. So they had to wait for the right ones to arrive, then it rained...so they had to wait for it to dry out a bit before starting the roof!! All that to say, this is the roof as of Sunday. We do have our walk-through tomorrow and the forecast is calling for rain. So hopefully they can get the roof on today. Back of the house Us...inside the kitchen Andrew and Soph at the front steps hee hee...ewww kissy pictures :)
Happy Girl :)
