Heading Out!

Sorry, there have not been many updates lately. Between trying to sell this house, getting everything ready for our new house, Sophia being a little sick, packing, etc....things have been a tad hectic around her. Oh, and I couldn't find the battery charger for our camera. Anyway we are heading to Birmingham to see David and Sue's (Andrew's parent's)new home! We are looking forward to spending some family time together. We also get to see Abba and Calebs's new store!! There will be so much to post about! I promise I will have updates and pictures when we return.

Spring Retreat

This past weekend was our Sunday school class spring retreat. There were 18 couples and 5 kids ranging from 3 years old to 7 1/2 months (Soph). We all drove down to Myrtle Beach and stayed in three different houses. We had wonderful teaching and worship as well as a great time hanging out together at the beach or playing games. I think Andrew and I are constantly amazed that we have been blessed with another great church family after leaving such an amazing group back at Grace.

She was such a trooper this weekend, she was so happy and excited. She never had a meltdown or had any trouble living with 5 other couples and two other kids.

House Update

Sitting Pretty :)

On Tuesday Sophia started sitting on her own!! She had been practicing with the

Bumbo, and then she was able to support herself by leaning forward. But now she can

sit all by herself! Andrew and I can not believe that she is old enough to sit independently

already. We realize we are only at very beginning of watching out little girl grow up "too quick".

Here is a good shot of her two little bottom teeth. She has had them since she was 5 1/2 months but we could never get a good picture of them. This is the reason my cell phone does not work so well. Sophia drools into the speaker and I have to wait a couple days for it to "dry out" before I can hear the person on the line.

April 23rd was my sister Alison's birthday!

I am truly blessed to have such an amazing sister.

Here are some things I love about Alison Ann.

She has always been sweet and kind to everyone. (really everyone)

She is talented in all things crafty.

She puts others before herself.

She has always had a soft spot for stray dogs.

She wears whatever she wants and doesn't care what others might think.

She though she had polio :) (long story)

She would always dance around our bedrooms with me.

She would lend me lunch money in high school.

She always takes time to help her friend with decorating problems.

She is a WONDERFUL Aunt to Sophia.

She makes me laugh.

She always tries to see the best in a situation.

She was so much fun to grow up with.

She loves her family.

She loves her husband.

We have a million stories that no one else would understand.

She is my only sister and one of my best friends :)

Alison's 27th Birthday Bash and Bon Jovi!!!

The actual reason I flew to LA was to celebrate my little sister's 27th Birthday.

She was having a big bash that involved a limo, private suite and Bon Jovi.

We had so much fun, Ali and I saw Bon Jovi for my 24th birthday and

he was great both times.
