Our First Visitors!!

We were so excited to have company!!! Our good friends Paul and Lauren flew out to spend some of their summer vacation with us (thank you again P&L :) We had such a great time...Andrew and I felt very blessed to have such kind and thoughtful friends stay with us!

SO with visitors in town I was able to explore some new sights with them. We went to UNC Chapel Hill and the shops on Franklin street. We drove the 8 miles to Duke, went into the cathedral, walked in the Sarah P. Duke gardens. We went shopping in downtown Raleigh. On the weekend we drove to Wrightsville Beach. It was so lovely...beautiful sand and about 80 degree water! I think Lauren would agree that the funniest part of the trip was watching Paul and Andrew live out their rock star dreams playing "Guitar Hero" together for hours :) Pretty darn funny.

In case you were wondering...yes, those are patio chairs they are sitting on...and yes, they are in our house...the new couch and chairs we ordered so that Paul and Lauren would have a place to sit...will not actually be arriving until mid- August...Fancy that!!! Anyway...it goes without saying...if anyone wants to come visit..you are more than welcome. We would love to have you. I will try and post pictures of our house once we find our camera.

Moving Day!!! Hello everyone!!! Today is the day...we sign the papers at 10:00 this morning and the house is ours!!! The mattress, fridge, washer and dryer are being delivered today sometime...and our furniture is scheduled to arrive from Los Angeles Tuesday morning at 8:30!! Once again everything has been so smooth and has just perfectly fallen into place, Andrew and I have been constantly amazed at how the Lord has blessed us...even down to the smallest detail!! Unfortunately we will not have internet access for the next couple of days...so I will try and post pictures as soon as I can..but here are a few more to hold you over...MISS YOU ALL..Love and kisses!!!

Moving Out and Saying Good-bye

Hello everyone!! We made it to North Carolina safe and sound. We were so blessed, everything worked out perfectly...I can't believe we were able to get everything done. Thank you all for your prayers.

We had our cars shipped over to us...they were loaded up in L.A. and driven across country! Praise the Lord, they arrived 6 days early...so I didn't have to try and drive stick around town. Andrew tried to teach me in one day... I did great as long as I didnt have to start, slow down, or stop!

Friday was my last day with my class...it was a VERY hard day...but I only cried about 6 times! Here is my class, as you can see they are ADORABLE!!! I was so blessed to have such an amazing and sweet group this year. Im going to miss them...

Our new home!!! Here are some pictures of our new home and some of the surrounding area. Take into consideration that we had not bought the house yet, and we were just taking pictures for reference...so they are not the best. I will definitely post better pictures once we settle in!
